Out-of-school adolescent girls are often invisible to mainstream SRHR programming. They are the least reached, yet the most in need. The SHE SOARS project—Sexual and reproductive Health and Economic empowerment Supporting Out-of-school Adolescent girls’ Rights and Skills—is designed to change that. Led by CARE Canada and implemented by WORUDET and six other organizations, this six-year initiative (2021–2027) spans Uganda, Kenya, and Zambia, with a total investment of $45 million from Global Affairs Canada.
