James Okot in Palubek Refugee Settlement, Lamwo district, had been in a boundary conflict with a colleague, the two ended up in a violent physical confrontation. Having sensed little way forward, James sought a paralegal worker operating with WORUDET within the settlement, who assessed the case and advised against retaliation, instead guiding about Police involvement.
Alfred, the WORUDET-linked paralegal, would later also guide about violence, recasting a bigger need to model better behaviour and reduce such incidents in the settlements WORUDET world in at large
Although the perpetrator wasn’t immediately apprehended, Alfred helped ensure prompt reporting to authorities, where an examination was documented under P.F.3 and reference was made to Paluda Health Centre. Related developments would later take a progressive turn from then on.
The perpetrator, Ochala David, was eventually arrested for theft and aligned in court from where Okot was able to testify with courage, leading to a three-month sentence for the instigator.

Abalon’s suspicions dipped and Arop now demonstrated a renewed sense of trust and understanding. They both can’t be thankful enough to Aidha for their newfound happiness and family stability.
